We know what we already knew

From Thomas "Bling Bling" Heath of the WaPo:

The Baltimore Orioles today asked the Federal Communications Commission to order Comcast cable company to begin . . .

Aw, that's not interesting. Fast-forwarding . . .

Officials from the cable company also said it is willing to pay the Nationals more than the $20 million that MASN now pays them for the rights to televise the games.
In an e-mail provided by Comcast, executive vice president David L. Cohen, said, "In the discussions between Major League Baseball and Comcast SportsNet, more money was offered by Comcast to Major League Baseball for the Nationals cable television rights than what is reportedly being paid by MASN."

Surprise, surprise.

Cohen could just be spinning some mere puffery here, but if he's not, then there's no question but that Peter Angelos really did have pictures of a Seligian orgy involving Linda Cropp's goat.

It's the only reasonable explanation, other than MLB being run by imbeciles. Hey wait; why can't it be both, eh?

In other news:

---> O's whining;
---> Comcast bootstrapping alleged breach involving O's rights in order to screw Nats' fans;
---> bear relieves self in woods; and,
---> Phil Jackson's the coach of the Lakers.

Film at eleven.

Thanks to the Nat fanatics over at BPG for pointing this out . . .
